The PNP is set to deploy 18,000 personnel for Undas

MANILA — The Philippine National Police (PNP) will deploy about 18,000 of its personnel to secure transportation hubs, thoroughfares, and cemeteries for Undas, an official said Monday.

PNP spokesperson Brigadier General Jean Fajardo said the police already has a “security template” for recurring events, including Undas, where people are expected to do an exodus and gather in cemeteries.

Fajardo said police regional directors were given the authority to adjust their alert level if necessary to maintain security in their respective areas.
